Student Counseling

The parents are urged to get in touch with the School/College administration, in case they judge, at any time, that their child has detracted and his interest in studies is diminishing. Any evidence of a negative slide in studies as well as in behavior should be promptly brought to notice and be thoroughly discussed.

There can be various reasons for a downward trend in academic performance or behavior. The problematic situations may include:

Difficulty in settling and integrating in a new class.

Physical disability, such as hearing problem, weak eyesight, etc.

Confusion regarding choice of subjects.

Excessive shyness.

Domestic problems, such as the shock of a sudden death of a close relative, or family clashes.

Influence of bad company.

Any kind of fear.

Strict confidentiality is maintained in the counseling process. SHS Administration believes in doing all-out efforts to help the students and parents in resolving issues hindering academic progress.
